Automatic Brew System With Special Pre-infusion Cycle

With the Saeco Royal One Touch easy-to-see display screen and and simple-to-operate, push-button control, the only difficult thing is deciding what beverage you want this time. Press a button and the machine automatically creates freshly brewed, rich and flavorful coffee beverages at the touch of a button.

The Saeco Royal One Touch uses an advanced automatic brew system. The machine grinds your beans fresh, on demand, in its built-in coffee grinder. It tamps the coffee perfectly (compresses it for best extraction), pre-soaks the grounds with a special "pre-infusion" step which helps to ensure an even and complete extraction, forces water under pressure through the coffee to brew the espresso, and then dumps the used coffee grounds into the internal dump box. Once the brewing cycle has been completed, it resets itself and is ready to create the next cup of coffee.

One Touch Automatic Milk Frothing System

Fill any container with cold milk and attach it to the machine using the included milk adapter and supply hose. The Saeco Royal One Touch will draw milk from the container and steam the milk on demand. No mess and virtually no waste!

3 Pre-Set Cup Size Buttons

Select the desired amount of espresso you wish to brew. Just press the single cup button to make a "short" espresso, the double cup button to make a "double" espresso, or the triple cup button to make a "triple" espresso. Press a button and walk away. The machine will automatically stop when the chosen volume of espresso has been brewed.

Variable Brew Volume - Your Coffee, Your Way!

Not just a one-size-fits-all solution. You can program the machine for how much coffee is to be brewed. Use one of the three factory-preset cup sizes as described above, or program the machine to make any cup size you want. When you press the brew button, the The Saeco Royal One Touch will automatically brew the chosen amount of coffee each time. You can program the machine to make the same cup volumes every time with cup sizes up to 8 ounces with varying strengths.

Selectable Brewing Temperature

The Royal One Touch allows you to determine the brewing temperature of your coffee from mild, hot, and very hot. The digital display will indicate the brewing temperature. This allows you to adjust the machine to your taste preferences using your coffee beans.

Coffee Dose Selection

Choosing the volume of the beverage is one thing, but what if you want a stronger or weaker cup of coffee? The adjustable dosing option allows you to choose the amount of coffee to be ground from 7 to 11 grams for each of the three preset cup sizes. This allows you to determine the strength of the coffee despite the size of the cup for any kind of coffee. Combine your choice of a brew volume with your choice of a dose size to create an espresso the way you like it!

Professional Quality "Conical" Coffee Grinder With 7 Grind Settings

A professional-quality, conical-type burr grinder is built-in and operates automatically. These are the style of burrs often found on commercial coffee grinders! The grinding burrs are made of heavy-duty steel and designed to resist damage from small bits of foreign matter which may be hiding in the coffee beans. The correct amount of coffee is ground individually, for each cup when a beverage is selected using one of the buttons on the front of the machine.

Choose Your Preferred Grind

Just as you can adjust how much coffee will be used to make your beverage, you can also change the size of the particles of coffee by adjusting the grinder. A second adjusting lever located on the right side of the Saeco Royal One Touch allows you to adjust the grind degree from very fine to more coarse. Why these adjustments? Read on:

Make Espresso or Cafe Crème

While delicious, espresso can be an intense experience and not everyone enjoys that. By choosing a more coarse grind with a slightly larger beverage size, you can make a “cafe crème” (also known as crema coffee). This coffee is brewed in the same manner as espresso. However, where espresso is brewed at a rate of about 15-20 seconds for about 1.5 ounces, cafe crème is brewed at a faster rate and greater volume of water. The coarser grind of coffee allows the faster flow. The result is a wonderfully aromatic and flavor-rich coffee that is smooth, yet not as intense as espresso, and like espresso, it will be topped with a layer of crema. You may find that you no longer will be using your current coffee maker, preferring the richer flavor of a “cafe crème.”

Digital Display Screen

The digital display shows the various machine functions and the status of the machine. It indicates when you are out of water, out of beans, when the machine needs cleaning or descaling, and more. From the screen you can program the Royal One Touch for various cup sizes, water temperature, and you can control various functions.

Removable Brew Unit

The brewing unit is designed to be easily removable with no tools at all for cleaning. It is accessed through a door on the right side of the machine. Open the door and the entire brewing unit can be pulled out using its integrated handle. Below it thee is a separate drip tray so even the inside of the machine can be kept clean and sanitary.

Coffee Bean Storage Hopper

The easy-to-fill hopper on the top-right of the machine supplies the coffee beans to the grinder holds 3/4 of a pound of coffee beans. The hopper has a lid which features a sealing gasket to keep air out and help keep your coffee beans fresh.

Separate Funnel For Pre-Ground Coffee

A guest comes over and wants decaf because it is late in the evening, but the bean hopper is filled with your morning blend. What to do? Open the door on top of the machine and dump in pre-ground coffee! This special feature allows the user to by-pass the internal coffee grinder. After brewing the pre-ground coffee the machine will reset itself to grind beans using the built in grinder. You can use any type of pre-ground coffee!

Double Boiler Heating System

Two boilers are powered by 1400 watts allowing for continuous use for large numbers of servings in short periods of time making the Royal One Touch ideal for home, office, or small commercial settings. One heating system is for brewing and the other for steaming.

A Powerful Pump Insures Perfect Coffee Extraction

The on board pressure pump produces a maximum pressure of 15 bars.

74 Ounce Built-in Water Tank

The Royal One Touch makes it easy to refill the water tank by allowing you to add water while it's still on the machine or by removing it and filling it at the water tap. The tank has an easy grip handle making removal easy. Clear tinted ABS plastic gives you an indication of the amount of water remaining, and if you forget to refill it the system will tell you if you have run out of water.

Internal Dump Box For Used Coffee Grounds

After making an espresso the Saeco Royal One Touch automatically ejects the used coffee into the internal dump box. The large capacity dump box will hold up to 20 spent coffee portions. Located at the front of the machine, it is easily removed for disposal of the spent coffee and for cleaning. Just give it a rinse, wipe dry, and slide it back into place.

Adjustable Coffee Dispensing Nozzle

The coffee dispensing nozzle on the front of the machine can be adjusted up and down. This makes it easy to accommodate various size cups. Small 2 oz. espresso cups up to large coffee cups 3.5" in height can easily fit under the adjustable coffee dispensing nozzle. You can even adjust its height while the coffee is being brewed.

Empty Drip-Tray Indicator

Few things make as big of a mess as an overflowing drip tray, particularly when you try to carry it over to the sink for emptying. An indicator located on the drip tray tells you when the drip tray is full and needs to be emptied to help avoid that situation..

Cup Warming Surface

The top of the machine is covered with a non-stick metal flat surface. Place your cups on this area and they are warmed, ready for use. Keeping your espresso cups warm helps the espresso stay warm longer, which is essential for preserving its taste.
